Discover the Creative Flow: A Path to Oneness and Healing
I’ve been reflecting once again on the state of the world. At the start of the war, there was this overwhelming sense of unity—“Together we Will Win.” But over time, divisions crept in, as they so often do. It re-confirmed my strong belief: Before we can truly find unity out there, we have to find it within ourselves.
How do we do that?
The creative process has always been my way of finding that oneness—a way to heal, uncover deeper truths, and reconnect with the divine. I believe God created us in His image, as co-creators, and when we lean into that creativity, we awaken something profound inside ourselves.
And it doesn’t have to be painting! Creativity shows up in so many forms—cooking a meal with love, writing a heartfelt letter, dancing freely, or even crocheting a gift for someone you care about. When we create, we step into a space where the outside world quiets down, and our inner world speaks.
Why is this so powerful?
Because in those moments of creation, we process emotions we didn’t even realize we were holding. Each brushstroke, word, or movement helps us release, heal, and rediscover clarity.
What’s beautiful is how this doesn’t stay confined to the creative act itself. That sense of flow starts to ripple into other parts of life—you might notice you’re more present, patient, or even joyful in the small moments.
So, what if we each committed to healing and finding that inner wholeness? What if, by nurturing ourselves, we started to heal the collective?
The question is What is holding us back from living life as our most creative self?
Investing in yourself can start with carving out time to be creative.
BUT even if you can’t set aside time for art, you can bring creativity into everything you do—dance while you cook, add a splash of color to your meals, sing poetic songs to your children or friends. Whatever you're doing, make it beautiful and artistic.
If you're feeling called to invest in yourself and cultivate your creative talents, but something is holding you back, you’re not alone. These five common blocks often arise when it comes to embracing creativity and making that investment in a course.
What are these common blocks, and how you can tell if these blocks are coming from a place of fear or truth?
Five Common Blocks to Embracing Creativity and Investing in a Course
If you’re feeling drawn to explore this, but something’s holding you back, you’re not alone. I’ve seen these five blocks come up again and again:
-
You feel excited about joining but not grounded in your “yes.”
Solution: Its hard to tell if you are truly grounded in your Yes or No. Give yourself space to sit with the decision. Sleep on it, and check in with your body in the morning—does the idea feel expansive and exciting or heavy and overwhelming? How does it feel in your body when you quiet the mind- is it a Hard YES or a hard NO. Trust your inner guidance.
-
Financial concerns or avoidance.
Solution: Consider the value of investing in yourself and the ripple effects it could have on your life. Payment plans or financial aid may also be an option—don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss what works for you. I just invested myself in a higher paying 3 month course. I went back and forth for months on whether I should take this course. I really wanted to, but felt that I had to make responsible budgeting decisions with my money. When the teacher saw my struggle and offered me a discount, and told me that I could take however long I needed to pay off the course - I jumped right on it. This course is something that will feed my body and soul and serve my highest good. The person I strive to become has all those skills that the course has to offer.
Ask Yourself - Will this course serve and Empower the Woman I want to become

A busy schedule, especially with kids.
Solution: Creativity doesn’t need to be a massive time commitment. It can fit into your life as you are now—whether through a night class, a babysitter, or even learning at your own pace. I promise, if you make time for creativity - you will be a way better mother. The best thing to do is to take a walk and clear the mind. Clear the busy thoughts and meditate on whetehter or not you can actually fit this into your schedule. If you have a new born baby- it can be a great time to take a course. Once theyt become more mobile- they demand more of your attention and time. If it does not feel like the right time, you can always keep it on your radar, and take the next round of this course.
-
You think, “I’m not an artist.”
Solution: Creativity isn’t about talent; it’s about process and progress. This is for everyone. If you’ve ever scribbled on paper or decorated a cake, you’ve been creative. This is what I am here to teach you- how to sink into your creative power and how to begin to identify as an artist. Remember- just by being alive- You are a living walking piece of Art. Everything you do in life is creating art with the divine.

I can’t learn well on Zoom.
Solution: This is one I hear ALL the time. People like to show up and have everything set for them, which also has its huge benefits. However, Virtual spaces can still feel deeply connected and inspiring. I have taken many online courses and felt deeply connected to the community all from the comfort of my own home. Plus- you totally save time and money on not needing to travel. With guidance, even online settings can nurture creativity in surprising ways. Joining an online painting course often means purchasing your own supplies—but this is a hidden advantage. By building your personal art studio, you create the freedom to experiment and practice anytime. For many, creating in public or group settings can feel intimidating. Working from home eliminates that pressure, allowing you to express yourself without fear of judgment.
If any of these resonate with you, there’s a way forward. Creativity isn’t just about making art. It’s about making space—for yourself, your healing, and your growth.
Art has a magical way of bringing the pieces of our lives together—the joyful, the messy, the uncertain. When you create, it’s more than crafting something beautiful. It’s a gentle weaving of your experiences, emotions, and dreams into something deeply meaningful.
