Paint Your Way Back to Yourself
Part 4: What does it mean to use Painting as a Spiritual Practice?
Connecting spiritually means to connect to that part of ourselves that is beyond space and time. That part of ourselves is a spark of the divine, it is completely whole and pure.
Part of the spiritual painting journey is learning how to connect to that holy part and creating from that point. If there are blockages within us, like trauma and dark emotions, that hide this essential and pure identity, painting can help us work through and heal these shadows.
Once we connect to that holiness and allow it to create and express, painting can be used as a prayer for our deepest visions.
